Soon there will be two ways for eligible students to park on campus. As always, eligible students may purchase semester parking permits. Starting with the 2020-2021 school year, eligible students also will be able to purchase daily parking permits. Only commuter students, students enrolled in co-ops or Stevens-obtained internships, students in AFROTC/ROTC, and students with disabilities or temporary mobility limitations are eligible to purchase semester or daily parking permits. Students are allowed to park only in designated facilities.

Daily Parking Permits

Daily parking will be available to eligible students in the 2020-2021 school year. A daily parking permit will cost $10. Information on how to obtain a daily parking permit will be made available prior to commencement of the 2020-2021 school year. A daily parking permit does not enable a student to park on campus overnight.

Applying for Parking Permits

Students eligible for parking permits may visit the "Web Self Services" link on myStevens to apply. Students must apply each semester. All students must enter a phone number so they can be contacted in matters pertaining to their vehicles.

Parking permit applications are usually processed within 72 hours. Applications are not processed on weekends. Students will not be contacted when their applications have been processed. It is the responsibility of students to check on the status of their parking permit applications.

Parking permits may be picked up at the Howe Center information desk. Students paying with cash or check may pick up their permits Monday through Friday any time that the Student Accounts Office is open to receive payments for the parking permits. The Student Accounts Office's operating hours can be found here. Students who wish to use e-billing or with questions about their applications or permits should contact Patrick Fitzgerald at [email protected] or 201-216-5105 from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Refunds for parking permits will not be honored after 2 weeks from the start of classes. No refunds will be granted for permits that are not picked up. After the initial 2-week period, refunds will only be issued for those attending classes that are cancelled with verification from the department that cancelled the class.
