Stevens knows that a healthy lifestyle equates to a better education, so the university is proud to offer extensive opportunities for students to maintain personal wellness, both physically and mentally.

The Student Wellness Center

The Student Wellness Center provides a broad range of critical services towards the physical and mental well-being of all students.  Students can visit Student Health Services, Student Counseling and Psychological Services,  Disability Services, and Wellness Education.   Through these professional services and programs, Stevens supports a comprehensive, coordinated, and holistic approach to student wellness.

Stevens has been named a recipient of the Campus Prevention Network (CPN) Seal of Prevention. Presented by Vector Solutions, the CPN Seal of Prevention is awarded to institutions of higher education that have demonstrated leadership in digital prevention programming focused on student safety, well-being, and inclusion.

Hit the Gym

Students have access to the Schaefer Center, which includes a swimming pool, fitness center and athletic training center.  There’s also the Walker Gymnasium, which has an indoor track and an open basketball/volleyball court available for student use.  Several group fitness classes, including yoga, indoor cycling, Zumba® and boot camp, are held throughout the semester to keep participants motivated and on track.

Athletics at Stevens

Stevens is moving to the Middle Atlantic Conference, you can catch the Ducks running the soccer field at the DeBaun Athletic Complex or dribbling down the court at the Canavan Arena in the Charles V. Schaefer Athletic Center.  Or, if you’d prefer to get in on the action yourself, you can join one of the many club and intramural sports Stevens offers.  Regardless of skill level or experience, you can find your place on a team in an exciting, challenging and safe environment.
