The iCNS AI Engineering and Science Symposium invites undergraduate, master's and doctoral students from across Stevens to present original work at its Spring 2026 poster session. Projects connected to AI, computing, data, networks, systems and related applications are welcome — from faculty-led research and thesis work to coursework and independent study.

Who May Submit

Submissions are welcome from undergraduate, master's and doctoral students — individually or as a team. Projects may arise from faculty-led research, thesis or dissertation work, capstone or design projects, coursework, independent study or lab-based collaborations.


Topics of Interest

We welcome work across AI and related fields, including but not limited to:

  • Core AI and machine learning foundations

  • Perception, vision and signal understanding

  • Autonomous and intelligent systems

  • AI systems, infrastructure and scalability

  • Trustworthy, responsible and explainable AI

  • Domain applications of AI — including healthcare, engineering and interdisciplinary work


How to Submit

Submit the following via the link below: poster title, author name(s), primary presenter, department or program, faculty advisor (if applicable), contact email and a one-page PDF describing the problem, approach, results and significance. Figures, tables and diagrams are welcome. Both horizontal and vertical poster formats are accepted.

Selection and Awards

Submissions will be reviewed by the Symposium Poster Committee on the basis of relevance, clarity, technical quality and potential impact. Space is limited and not all submissions may be accepted.

Selected posters will be presented during the 1:40–4:00 p.m. poster and networking session, and standout work will be considered for Elite Poster awards.
