The Information Systems minor provides students with the essential skills to bridge technology and business strategy in today's digital-first economy.
This program combines foundational programming and systems knowledge with business acumen, enabling students to understand how technology solutions align with organizational goals and user needs. Students learn to evaluate, implement and manage information systems that drive business processes, from mobile applications and databases to digital marketing platforms and enterprise software. The minor emphasizes both technical competency and strategic thinking, preparing students to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders, and gain valuable expertise in analyzing technology requirements, designing user-centered solutions and managing digital transformation initiatives that are increasingly critical across all industries and career paths.
