Michael Parente
Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer
Michael Parente, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, is an accomplished leader with more than 20 years of experience in information technology advancing technology strategy, enterprise infrastructure and digital transformation. He guides the university’s IT strategy and operations, overseeing services including enterprise applications, data and analytics, platform integration, systems and network engineering, research computing, learning technology, academic multimedia, client support, project management and information security.
Jeremy Livingston
Chief Information Security Officer
Jeremy is the Chief Information Security Officer. Prior to joining Stevens, he has worked in a wide range of organizations such as NJEdge, Fortium Partners, the Pew Charitable Trusts, DXC Technology, Federal Housing Finance Agency, ASRC Federal, Cloudburst Security, NucoreVision Inc., Executive Office of the President in the White House, and the US Navy. He also serves on the InCommon Steering Committee, Eduroam Advisory Board, and as an Adjunct Professor for American Public University.
Michael Scalero
Senior Director of Client Support and Learning Technology Services
Mike Scalero serves as the Senior Director of Client Support and Learning Technology Services. Mike has been at Stevens for 17 years and has held multiple positions within the Division, working on and leading a variety of enterprise projects. He provides leadership for his team in all aspects of instructional technology, design, multimedia, and client support.
Hammad Ali
Senior Director of Infrastructure Services
Hammad Ali is a Senior Director of Infrastructure Services. He has over 19 years of information technology experience and a long history of managing IT engineering organizations and projects across the entire IT infrastructure landscape. Prior to joining Stevens in May 2020, he served as a VP/ IT Infrastructure Manager at Rockefeller Capital Management, where he led groups responsible for numerous distributed infrastructure, IT security, data center migration, cloud engineering, and user support services. Hammad holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NJIT.
