Picking Up Mail

Students may pick up mail (letters, magazines, etc.) by going to the Stevens Post Office window.

Picking Up Packages

A student will be notified of a package delivery by Stevens Mail Services via email.

Most packages for students will be placed in smart lockers located outside the Stevens Post Office. Students have 24/7 access to the lockers. Any packages not placed in smart lockers will be available at the Stevens Post Office window.

When a package is deposited into a smart locker, the student will receive an email notification with a 5-digit pin code and QR code. Either may be used to access the locker. But the best way to pick packages is with the Smiota app.

The Smiota app may be installed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Follow the directions to register for an account using the student's stevens.edu email address. When a student has a package waiting for them in a locker they can open the app when in front of the locker. A green icon will appear in the app. Tap on the icon to open the locker.

The package will remain in a smart locker for approximately 1 week. If not picked up within that timeframe, the student must go to the Stevens Post Office window to pick up the package. A package not picked up after 2 weeks will be returned to the sender.

Perishable items will be discarded after 3 days.
