Cooperative Education Program
The Cooperative Education Program, or "Co-op" is a five-year program where students work in paid, full-time jobs in an industry related to the student's academic major and career goals. Students participating in Co-op alternate a semester of academic study with a semester of full-time work over the course of their sophomore and junior years. Stevens Career Center staff work closely with employers to align employer recruitment needs with student academic schedules and Co-op work terms.

Eligible Degrees
Engineering Programs: Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Engineering Management, Environmental, Mechanical, Industrial & Systems, Engineering with a Concentration in Naval Engineering, Software Engineering
Computer Science Programs: Computer Science, Cybersecurity
Employer Requirements
Co-ops are full-time paid positions, minimum 35 hours per week
Co-op start and end dates must align with the academic calendar
The employer must assign a designated supervisor to oversee the work performed by the student
