Admissions Interview
The admissions interview offers the opportunity for a one-on-one meeting between a prospective high school senior or transfer student and either an admissions counselor or graduate assistant. It’s an opportunity to:
Share your story beyond your college application
Learn more about academic programs, student life and campus culture
Explore how Stevens fits your goals
If choosing to register for an interview, it must be completed by a student’s application deadline. Interviews will be offered virtually and in person during the fall.
Note: While interviews are primarily conducted virtually and on campus, Stevens may occasionally offer regional interviews to students in select areas outside of New Jersey and the New York City metropolitan area. Regional interviews are only available for first-year applicants. For more information, reach out to your respective admissions counselor.
Accelerated Pre-Medicine/Accelerated Pre-Law: If you are applying to an accelerated pre-professional program, you are welcome to participate in the admissions interview; however, please note that this interview does not fulfill the interview requirement for the program. Those invited to an interview will be notified separately.
Transfer Students: If you are applying as a transfer and would like to interview, you must complete the interview by your application deadline. To ask questions about the transfer interview process, please contact Ryan Degnan, Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions, [email protected].

Diversifying STEM: Explore Your Future at Stevens
Diversifying STEM: Explore Your Future at Stevens is a program designed for high school seniors interested in applying to Stevens. It offers a chance to learn more about our campus, experience our vibrant culture, and explore the diverse resources and opportunities available to all students. This program is held each fall in-person and virtually in late October or early November.
If you have any questions about this program, please reach out to [email protected].
Group Visits
We’re excited you’re considering a group visit to Stevens! Group visits are designed for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors, or organizations with 15–40 participants. Visits typically include an information session with an admissions representative and a student-led campus tour. While we do our best to accommodate requests, submission does not guarantee availability. Please request your visit at least 3 weeks and no more than 3 months in advance.
