Capstone Business Experience

College classes in accounting, leadership, analytics and marketing are an important foundation for forward-looking students who want to bring an invaluable set of technology-infused business skills to the workplace. But more important than learning these concepts is applying them in real business settings.
That's what makes the capstone experience at the School of Business special. In their final year, students complete the two-course Senior Design experience, where they work on a consulting project, complete a research assignment or pursue their idea for a startup company. Students receive extensive coaching from faculty as they engage stakeholders, work through milestones and prepare deliverables for the annual Stevens Innovation Expo.
