Program Highlights

Traditional Business Through the Technology Lens: At Stevens, conventional business disciplines are taught from a technological perspective, ensuring graduates are well-versed in leveraging leading-edge tools and methodologies to drive innovation across all aspects of a business.

AI and Machine Learning are Here to Stay: Students gain an essential understanding and practical application of AI and machine learning, equipping them to take the lead in navigating the fourth industrial revolution and propel industries forward.

Real-World Consulting Experience: The hallmark of the full-time MBA, the Industry Capstone Program, immerses students in consulting engagements with real-word companies. Students and their peers, under faculty mentors, take what they’ve learned in their courses to develop solutions to real business problems and present their recommendations to senior executives. This experience provides students with something they can speak about to hiring managers and recruiters. Open to students across graduate programs, the Industry Capstone Project encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, nurturing diverse perspectives and skill development.

Invaluable Networking Opportunities: Capstone projects partnering with companies, providing students with networking opportunities and allowing them to foster connections that can lead to career advancement.

West Point Leadership Immersion: Executive MBA students participate in a transformative weekend leadership experience at the prestigious United States Military Academy at West Point, the premier leadership academy in the nation. Students question their assumptions, take calculated risks and step out of their interpersonal comfort zone to identify strengths, growth areas and opportunities to support each other's development.

Given the extensive work experience required for admission to this program, GMAT or GRE scores are not required. Applicants who think that their test scores reflect their potential for success in graduate school may submit scores for consideration.

An MBA for Today's Executive

Like most EMBA programs, Stevens offers a careful work-life balance for aspiring leaders, with courses meeting on alternating Saturdays. And you move through the program with the same group of professionals, giving you an incredibly powerful network and enriching classroom discussions with perspectives from a variety of industries.

The Stevens EMBA, though, recognizes that executive-level courses must offer a strong technology perspective to be relevant in a fast-changing world. Here, courses in marketing, finance, strategy and operations emphasize the use of analytical tools that are changing how decisions are made in these disciplines. Faculty teach you to approach problems like a nimble entrepreneur, and use emerging technologies to become an innovator who brings greater sophistication and efficiency to the enterprise.

Admission Criteria

The Stevens Executive MBA (EMBA) is designed for working professionals. To be considered for admission, your application must also include the following items listed below.

GMAT/GRE test scores are optional for all master’s programs except MBA.

The Stevens Executive MBA is only available on a part-time basis. It is best suited for working professionals who are able to take classes on the Stevens campus every other Saturday, and takes less than three years to complete.

Application Deadlines

Because of the weekends-only nature of the program, the EMBA is considered a part-time degree. Therefore, applications are accepted on a rolling basis. While students can start the program in the spring or summer semesters, it is strongly recommended that new students enroll in the fall, so as to be fully immersed in the program's unique cohort experience.

Fall 2024 applications are being accepted.

Curriculum

Two foundation courses (EMT 506 and FIN 523) are intended to provide students with a solid foundation in basic business skills, to ensure their ability to meaningfully engage in high-level discussions with their classmates. Students with business degrees or backgrounds in these fields may speak with the program director about waiving one or more of these courses.
