Services
Planning and Design provides space planning and interior design services to the Stevens community, including:
Programming and development in support of departmental reconfigurations, renovations, and new construction.
Selection and standardization of building finishes, furniture, signage, and artwork.
Specifying solutions to support student and employee well-being on campus.
Space management system and documentation oversight.
Moves planning and coordination.
Planning and Design works collaboratively with the administration, departments, and consultants from project inception to occupant move-in.
Sustainability and Well-Being Support
Planning and Design fosters Stevens’ sustainability initiatives by selecting socially and environmentally responsible products and continually searching for ways to maximize resources in its business practices.
In partnership with the Office of the Provost, Student Affairs, and Human Resources, Planning and Design assists the community to identify and specify solutions to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, overcome accessibility challenges, and promote ergonomic health in classroom and office settings.
Space Management
Planning and Design oversees the documentation and data associated with more than 1.7 million gross square feet of owned and leased space on and off the Stevens campus and manages the Archibus space management database.
