David M. Bonifacic, Sr.
MANAGING PRINCIPAL, CEO & CO-FOUNDER, WB ENGINEERS+CONSULTANTS
David Bonifacic is managing principal of WB Engineers+Consultants, a mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (MEP) engineering firm. He oversees the business strategy for all four of the firm’s offices. Under Mr. Bonifacic’s leadership, the firm has grown organically from three to 125 team members and has expanded beyond its core services of MEP engineering to include civil engineering, commissioning, technology consulting, and real estate transactions.
Mr. Bonifacic is an expert in base building infrastructure modernizations, building repositioning projects, lease analysis, energy efficiency/sustainable design, and mission critical facilities. He also has extensive experience in interior fit-out projects in a variety of markets including offices, higher education, retail, residential, pharmaceutical, hospitality, and mixed-use.
Mr. Bonifacic is on the Allendale, NJ. Planning Board. He is also a former member of the board of governors at Ramapo College.
An alumnus of Stevens Institute of Technology, Mr. Bonifacic earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1986 and was a member of the Ducks basketball team. He and his wife, Elaine, currently serve as members of Stevens Athletics Advisory Board, and their two sons continue the tradition of a Stevens’ education. DJ graduated with a degree in business and technology in 2015 and was a member of the varsity lacrosse team. Billy is a student majoring in business and finance, class of 2017.
In addition to his engineering degree, Mr. Bonifacic also holds a master’s degree in strategic communications from Columbia University.
