SEVIS Activation & Orientation

SEVIS Activation is a required and vital portion of beginning your F-1 Student journey after you have arrived to Stevens. SEVIS Activation is a short ISSS form submitted online that allows ISSS to confirm your arrival to Stevens and 'activate' your SEVIS Records. SEVIS Activation is required for all students beginning a new F-1 Program at Stevens, including initial and newly arrived students, transfer-in students, change of degree level students, change of status students, and students who had previously studied at Stevens and are returning to continue their studies in the U.S.

SEVIS Activation Resources

It is important to review all available resources on the ISSS SEVIS Activation Webpage and beyond - including our Maintenance of Status video and webpage, which will guide you through maintaining your visa status throughout your program at Stevens.
