Travel Advisories and Alerts

The Office of International Programs regularly monitors the safety and security conditions of our study abroad sites and itineraries by using U.S. State Department information along with other reliable sources. Due to safety concerns, undergraduate students are unable to study abroad in specific regions of countries that the U.S. State Department has issued a level 4 Travel Advisory. US STATE DEPARTMENT - ALERTS AND WARNINGS

Additional support and information are provided by Stevens to all students and faculty members abroad. Stevens receives alerts and data from the Overseas Security Advisory Council. OSAC was created in 1985 under the Federal Advisory Committee Act to promote security cooperation between American private sector interests worldwide and the U.S. Department of State.

We work closely with our international partners and study abroad providers to keep up to date when there are reports of safety concerns abroad.
