Jayda Yizar, M.A.
Jayda is a psychotherapist-in-training at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). She earned her B.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences with minors in Sociology and Africana Studies, her M.A. in Psychological Studies with a concentration in Sports Psychology, and a certificate in Sports and Exercise Psychology from Seton Hall University. Jayda is currently a fourth-year Ph.D. Counseling Psychology Candidate at Seton Hall. She is passionate about supporting college students’ psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Jayda has a particular interest in working with student-athletes, helping them navigate the challenges of balancing physical performance with their mental and emotional health. Following graduation and licensure, she hopes to continue her work in a college counseling center or athletic department, providing holistic care and resources to empower students both on and off the field.
