Whether it’s on the field or off, one thing is certain, Sebastian Montoulieu always brings his best. A graduate management student and a graduate transfer athlete on the NCAA Division III men’s soccer team, he has quickly distinguished himself through excellence in both academics and athletics. In his first semester at Stevens, Montoulieumaintained a perfect 4.0 GPA while earning Academic All-District recognition, demonstrating the same discipline in the classroom that defines his performance in competition.

As the team’s starting goalkeeper, Montoulieu helped lead Stevens to the 2025 MAC Freedom Regular Season and Conference Tournament championships, securing the program’s fifth consecutive conference title. His standout performance earned him First Team All-MAC Freedom honors as the conference’s top goalkeeper. His success at Stevens has also opened the door to professional opportunities, and he is currently a preseason trialist with Brooklyn FC of the USL Championship, the second tier of professional soccer in the United States.

Before arriving at Stevens, Montoulieu graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business with a degree in business administration, concentrating in marketing and minoring in political science. A Dean’s List student every semester, he was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma and completed a directed study focused on brand equity and perception research for a student-founded startup. His leadership also extended to athletics, where he captained Northeastern’s club soccer team to its first national playoff appearance in a decade before becoming the first walk-on to join the Division I men’s soccer program since 2018.

Montoulieu has also built an impressive professional foundation through internships at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company and Wayfair, where he gained experience in operations, logistics and marketing analytics.
