Whether it’s in the classroom, a club meeting or an internship, Rochelle Okhtenberg consistently challenges herself to excel. A finance major with a minor in economics, she approaches academics with disciple and curiosity that has not only led to a 3.95 GPA and has earned Dean’s List recognition every semester, but to also gain a deeper understand her classroom learnings apply to real-world financial contexts.

At Mizuho, Okhtenberg supported the execution of more than $3.5 billion in private debt placements, including the largest private yen-denominated transaction in the market, contributing to financial modeling, credit analysis and investor materials on live deals. Earlier roles at Broadridge and Pebble Legacy Partners built her skills across cost analysis, contract review, due diligence and investment evaluation, giving her a professional profile that spans investment banking, private equity and corporate finance.

Her leadership on campus reflects the same intentionality. As Co-President of Beta Gamma Sigma, she leads a 40-plus member honor society, organizing speaker panels and professional development events that connect students directly with industry professionals. As a Business First-Year Mentor, she has guided incoming students through the academic and career pressures of their first year, offering the kind of honest, practical support that makes a lasting difference early on.

Beyond those roles, Okhtenberg remains active in Stevens Hillel and Stevens Women in Business, contributing to communities that reflect her broader belief that meaningful leadership always finds a way to give back. For her, integrity and intention are not aspirational values. They are the standard she holds herself to every day.
