When Adriana Bertolotti reflects on what success means, it’s never been defined by a time on a scoreboard. As a competitive swimmer, it’s meant early morning practices, late nights studying and the perseverance and dedication to keep showing up. That mindset has become the lens through which she approaches everything at Stevens.

A finance major with a minor in quantitative finance, Bertolotti has carried the discipline of a Division III athlete directly into her academic and professional life. By the spring of her sophomore year, she had already secured internships for the following two summers, a pace of career preparation that reflects the same consistency and planning she brings to the pool. Her junior-year internship led to a full-time job offer.

Nominated as team captain of the Stevens swim team, she guided her teammates through one of the program's most memorable moments, a comeback at MAC Championships that ended five consecutive second-place finishes and broke both the meet and championship records. That same steadiness has served her as Panhellenic Delegate and Director of Sisterhood in Alpha Phi Fraternity, where she has championed women's heart health awareness with personal conviction, inspired in part by her grandmother's own heart condition.

Away from campus, Bertolotti has volunteered at Hoboken High School, teaching students with disabilities how to swim, bringing the same patience and adaptability she learned in competition to a setting where the victories are quieter but no less meaningful.
