In recognition of the School of Systems & Enterprises' (SSE's) pursuit to provide world-class systems education and groundbreaking research, SSE graduate programs advanced eight positions in the nationwide U.S. News & World Report, rising from No. 39 to No. 31.

The SSE’s new strategic plan, Planning for Success, Strategic Plan 2018-2023, acts as a cornerstone for its momentum over the next five years and aims to bolster all aspects of education, research and outreach. The plan focuses on providing a reinvigorated and exciting new curriculum with interdisciplinary education as its foundation, a redesigned infrastructure to provide students and faculty with an inspiring and entrepreneurial environment, and a consistently emphasized reputation of leadership to reinforce the school’s status. The plan also concentrates on fostering a culture of research and collaboration within the school and beyond its borders, diversifying corporate education and becoming a destination school for aspiring undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students.
