Writing for Quants

Abstract

Quantitative specialists develop mathematical and programming skills while often shirking softer skills such as writing. But – fair or not – people make judgements about your intelligence, your competence, and even your integrity based on the quality of your writing. Whether you end up working in business or academics, your writing skills matter.

This lecture covers writing skills specifically designed for professionals with quantitative backgrounds using real-world examples from the business world and academia.
