Resources for Autism other Neurodivergent Conditions:

The Asperger/Autism Network (AANE) - AANE provides individuals, families, and professionals with information, education, community, support, and advocacy.

Wrong Planet - A web community designed for individuals (and parents/professionals of those) with autism spectrum disorder and other neurological differences.

Neurodiversity Network -Provides resources for neurodivergent job seekers and neurodivergent students, employers & universities, & the support of the neurodiverse community.

Autistic Women & Nonbinary Network (AWN) – A web community designed to provide support and resources for Autistic women, girls, transfeminine and transmasculine nonbinary people, trans people of all genders, Two Spirit people, and all others of marginalized genders.

Tourette Association of America – A web community that works to raise awareness, advance research, and provide ongoing support to patients and families impacted by Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders.

Resources for ADD/ADHD and Learning Disabilities:

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) An ADHD/ADD organization that offers information and resources, including both in-person and online support communities.

National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) -The mission of NCLD is to improve the lives of the 1 in 5 children and adults nationwide with learning and attention issues—by empowering parents and young adults, transforming schools and advocating for equal rights and opportunities.

Blind/Low Vision Resources:

American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) -Started in 1921, the American Foundation for the Blind seeks to make the voices of those who are blind or visually impaired heard and to fight for equitable access for all.

National Eye Institute (NEI) – the National Eye Institute’s mission is to “conduct and support research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to blinding eye diseases, visual disorders, mechanisms of visual function, preservation of sight, and the special health problems and requirements of the blind.”

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Resources:

National Deaf Center (NDC) – The National Deaf Center’s mission is to close the substantial gaps in education and employment that exist for deaf people in the United States and its territories

Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) – HLAA strives to give people the tools they need to live more successfully with hearing loss and to show them they do not have to face hearing loss alone.

Physical and Mobility Disability Resources:

United Spinal Association – is dedicated to empowering people with spinal cord injuries and disorders (SCI/D), including veterans, to live successful and fulfilling lives.

United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) – Indispensable resource for individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, their families, and their communities.

Resources for Psychological Disabilities:

The Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) - ADAA is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and cure of anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders through the alignment of science, treatment, and education.
