Alumni and friends often give to Stevens to support causes dear to them – maybe the same scholarship fund they benefitted from, or the athletics program, or the academic department where they learned the most for their career.

Stevens can meet its mission of preparing students and pursuing research because alumni and friends provide resources for the university’s foundational needs, especially scholarships and academics, faculty operations, and campus facilities. Staff members in the Office of Development and Alumni Engagement have the answer for any question about the campaign. Connect with us at [email protected] or 201-216-3664.

Areas to Give

Scholarships

Scholarships often mean the difference in whether a student can enroll at Stevens. Alumni and friends who support class, individual or affinity scholarships remove financial burdens and enable students to focus on reaching their potential.

Many donors establish their own scholarship funds, and others contribute to funds named in honor of a class, fraternity, sorority, or affinity group. Any donor wishing to support scholarships, in any amount, can give to the comprehensive Stevens Scholarship Fund or to the unique Lawrence T. Babbio '66 Pinnacle Scholars Program.

Capital Projects

Castle Point is a modern campus for teaching, research, learning and living. The university’s most ambitious priorities are monumental capital projects like the University Center Complex.

Rising student interest in Stevens means the university must upgrade existing facilities and add new ones. To learn more about giving to a capital project, connect with Sarah Wells, Director of Major Gifts by email or (201)216-8295.

Clubs and Activities

Support for affinities like the Lore-El Center for Women’s Leadership, the Stevens Technical Enrichment Program, and WCPR enables students to grow in welcoming and encouraging environments.

As part of preparing students for success, Stevens must challenge them with opportunities beyond the classroom. Support towards that goal could benefit annual events like the senior design Innovation Expo, creative programs like WCPR Radio, or immersive projects such as the award-winning SURE HOUSE.
