Translational Lung Bioengineering Laboratory

About

The overall goal of our group is to develop innovative bioengineering technologies that can provide practical solutions to some of unmet clinical needs, with an initial emphasis on the lung disease diagnosis and treatment. We utilize an integrated multi-disciplinary approach, combining microfluidics, theoretical modeling, optics, and tissue engineering. Our work will open new avenues for establishment of effective strategies for therapeutic intervention against various respiratory disorders.

Research Areas

  • Machine-Vision Guided Devices for Site-Specific Drug Delivery

  • Microfluidic Devices Utilizing DNA/RNA Probes for Rapid Disease Diagnosis
