Research

Dr. Ying Wang's primary research interests are wireless communications and health AI. Interested research areas include:
• AI-based data-driven 5G and nextG platform to address transparent and reasoning in wireless communications
•Interdisciplinary research leveraging secure, high performance, and resilient wireless technologies to enable intelligent, deployable discoveries and insights at various verticals including healthcare, cv2x, and UAV.
•Cyber-physical systems and security
•Telehealth, IoMT and content-aware, edge-centered medical decision support system

General Information

Dr. Ying Wang has broad experience in industry and academia, and interdisciplinary knowledge in wireless communications, health informatics, software engineering, and data mining. She was Wireless Design Engineer at Apple and a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) at Verizon. She holds multiple patents in wireless AI, healthcare, IoT, and cognitive radio.
