Research

My research lies in tackling real-world challenges through the convergence of human-computer interaction and cutting-edge machine-learning methodologies. My work revolves around the exploration of user-system interactions, employing both quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to gain deeper insights into the dynamics between individuals and intelligent systems.

General Information

I am an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Stevens Institute of Technology. My research focuses on human-computer interaction, AI, and accessibility. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, where I studied how blind and sighted users interact with error-prone speech and image recognition systems. I’ve conducted research at Microsoft Research, Adobe Research, and the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute. My work has been published at CHI, ASSETS, and W4A, and recognized with several best paper nominations. I also actively serve the accessibility and HCI research communities through reviewing and organizing conferences.
