The safety of Stevens students and employees is of utmost importance to the Stevens Campus Police Department. For that reason, there are two digital systems in place to augment the Stevens Campus Police's efforts to keep the Stevens community safe.
Stevens Alerts
The Stevens Alerts system is the primary means for notifying Stevens community members about important emergency announcements in a timely manner through text messages and emails. These announcements can include notifications about active shooter threats, school closures, weather emergencies, and other important information that directly impacts community members. All members of the Stevens community are strongly encouraged to register their current cell phone with the Stevens Alerts system.
Stevens Guardian
Stevens has partnered with Rave to provide Stevens Guardian, a mobile app that turns any cell phone into a personalized protection network. It connects you directly with Stevens Campus Police if you feel threatened or during an emergency and provides important information instantly. Stevens Guardian has a Call Directory with important contact information; receives timely campus notifications, updates, and emergency notifications; and provides students and employees with virtual escorts, emergency assistance, two-way communications, and other resources.
