Attending these events can count towards your certification

The Inclusive Leadership Certificate Program puts together engaging events each fall and spring semester, comprised of workshops, trainings and speaker events. These events allow you to develop new skills while also helping you apply what you’ve learned throughout the program. Remember to check the site regularly for new and upcoming events for the semester.

Fall 2025 Events

Compassionate Communication: Speaking and Listening Across Differences

This interactive workshop, led by expert Ellen Waldman, provides a four-step method to improve connection, understanding and reduce defensive, unproductive conflict. This event will be held on October 22, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Babbio Center 203.

Leading Through Uncertainty via Inclusion

Explore how inclusive leaders navigate uncertainty through a panel, team challenges and live voting at during the dynamic workshop. This event will be held on November 12, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Babbio Center 221.

2025 Lore-El Center Rise and Redefine Leadership Conference

Welcome to the 2025 Leadership Conference: Rise & Redefine—a biennial gathering focused on building coalitions of support and redefining what leadership means for the future. This event will be held on Friday, November 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
