Stevens-Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine (HMSOM) Partnership
About
Stevens Institute of Technology has collaborated with Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine (HMSOM) to provide HMSOM students with the opportunity to concurrently pursue an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Stevens alongside their MD program.
Stevens’ multidisciplinary Biomedical Engineering master's program blends advanced study in engineering, biology, life sciences, medicine, clinical applications and bioethics. You’ll investigate emerging areas alongside our actively patenting faculty, test and model new devices in world-class laboratories, and discover how far you can go in an entrepreneurial environment that rewards your scientific rigor and vision.
Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering
This program is design-oriented to help students pursue new technologies from concept through commercialization. And since ideas are only as good as their implementation, the MS in Biomedical Engineering gives students multiple opportunities to work with faculty and industry partners so they can leave the program better positioned for success.
The Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering offers eight concentrations in key areas for students to choose from. Sample study plans for each concentration below:
