Message from the Chair
I am honored to join the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. I am excited to collaborate with our outstanding faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Our biomedical engineering students are innovators and entrepreneurs in engineering, medicine, and science. I want to make sure that we continue to offer our students excellent educational experiences and research opportunities. Our talented faculty are involved in cutting-edge research projects with significant clinical impact. We will also continue to build our research programs and expand our collaborations internally and outside of Stevens.
I would like to thank Dean Zu and the Stevens leadership team for their commitment to growing the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Stevens. With solid support from leadership, the growth momentum will continue to build, and I look forward to actively partaking in this endeavor. I want to take this opportunity to also thank our department’s founding chair, Dr. Hongjun Wang, for his service and leadership. Under his direction, the department has advanced its research enterprise and educational quality, laying the foundation for our next phase of growth. I am grateful for his dedication and commitment to our department.
