LeadX: Tech-Empowered Leadership High School Summer Program

Format: Zero Credit, In-Person, On-Campus

Eligibility: Students currently in grades 9-11.

Program Highlights

In LeadX: Technology-Empowered Leadership, high school students develop essential communication, teamwork, and innovation skills through immersive, tech-enabled experiences that mirror real challenges faced by today’s leaders.

Throughout this one-week on-campus program, students learn to exercise influence, integrate divergent perspectives, foster borderless teamwork, manage uncertainty, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions using the same tools that modern organizations rely on. They will engage in interactive behavior labs, leadership simulations, AI-enhanced experience, and virtual reality-based training modules, and networking with business professionals, guided by industry experts and Stevens faculty from the School of Business.

What sets this program apart is its integration of cutting-edge technology with human-centered leadership development. Students will engage in real-world leadership challenges, receive personalized insights, navigate high-pressure situations in virtual reality, collaborate on problem-solving sprints, build relationships and resolve conflicts through facilitated role plays, and create their leadership portfolio, all while laying a strong foundation of collaboration, adaptability, and strategic thinking.

By the end of the week, students will:
