J-1 Student Interns

Stevens Institute of Technology is currently authorized to invite students to participate in a student internship program that meets the students’ home institutions educational requirements.

The Student Intern category is available to International students currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree at a post-secondary academic institution outside the United States. The internship must "fulfill the educational objectives for his or her current degree program at his or her home institution" by way of individualized Training/Internship Placement Plan. Student Interns may participate in an internship program for up to 12 months for each foreign degree/major. Departments should begin the Student Intern application process at a minimum 3 months before the Intern’s intended arrival at Stevens.
