Program of study GPA must be 2.0 or higher for undergraduates and 3.0 or higher for graduate students.
All academic requirements as indicated in your academic progress tab in Workday are listed as satisfied.
Transfer coursework must be completed and the final transcript must be submitted to [email protected] by the date of conferral.
Each year, Stevens hosts one set of commencement ceremonies in May to confer degrees for summer, fall and pring graduates. For more information visit the Commencement Website.
Timeline for Receiving Diploma
Diplomas are ordered 2-3 weeks after the date of conferral
Electronic diplomas will be mailed to your home email address four weeks after the date of conferral.
Paper diplomas will be shipped to you six to eight weeks after your date of conferral.
A tracking number will be provided by our vendor.
How Holds Affect Diplomas
Master's, doctoral and graduate certificate students are assigned a graduate degree fee during the semester in which they plan to graduate
If this fee is not paid by the date of conferral, a diploma and transcript hold will be placed on your account. You will be unable to receive an official transcript or diploma until the fee is paid.

A single replacement diploma (not duplicate or copy) can be requested no sooner than eight weeks after your date of conferral using the Diploma Replacement Form. This form must be submitted with payment. Orders will be processed on the first business day of each month, without exception, and can take up to eight weeks to be delivered. Tracking information cannot be made available.
OPT Notification: Your Program Completion status cannot be evaluated and/or cleared until the end of drop add period, as published on the Academic Calendar. Clearing your graduation status can take an additional two to three weeks after this date. There cannot be any exceptions to this rule.
