Free Yoga at Asana Soul Practice
Stevens cares about your emotional well-being, and we know that activities like yoga and mindfulness go a long way to helping students feel healthy and balanced. Thanks to a generous grant from The New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education, Stevens students can now receive free in-person or virtual yoga classes in the 2024-2025 academic year from a Hudson County gem: Asana Soul Practice!

Is there an age limit?
Yes. You must be 18 years of age to register for a membership.
Are classes really free?
Yes! These classes are funded by the NJ Office of the Secretary of Higher Education by way of grant money awarded to Stevens to help care for the mental health and wellbeing of its students.
How many classes can I attend per day? Is there a limit?
Students can attend a maximum of one class per day.
What do I do if the class I want to attend is full?
Asana Soul Practice has agreed to reserve as many as five spots per class for Stevens students who register with this program.
If the class you want to attend is full, please look for an alternative class with Asana Soul Practice that might meet your needs.
Additionally, if you do not get into the class you want, you may be put on a waitlist for that class. Be sure to opt in for text messaging, so Asana Soul Practice can notify you asap if you get a spot.
Are yoga mats provided?
No. You may bring your own mat, or you may rent a mat for a cost of $3 per use.
Can I just show up at the studio for a class?
No, please don't. You won't be able to attend any classes unless you pre-register for it online.
