About

The Laboratory for NeuroInnovation investigates neural stimulation therapies to treat neurological and psychiatric diseases. We use a quantitative in vivo approach - combining behavioral analysis, immunohistochemistry for tissue assessment, and extracellular neural recordings - to improve our understanding of neural stimulation devices and develop novel neural stimulation strategies. Current projects focus on understanding and advancing Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Parkinson’s disease.
