ACC Seminar: AI and Group Theory

Math equations.

Department of Mathematical Sciences

Location: North Building Room 316 and Zoom (Passcode: ACC)

Speaker: Dr. Alexei Miasnikov, Professor, Stevens Institute of Technology

ABSTRACT

Based on several well-known open problems in group theory, I will explore how to utilize AI/ML in research on infinite groups and how the use of AI changes our perspective on the nature of mathematical problems and their complexity.
