  • Students registration dates are determined by the student's current classification (total number of credit hours earned).  This does not include courses for which a student is currently enrolled.

    Winter and Spring 2021 Dates

    Graduate 

    • All students – begins Monday, October 26, 7 a.m. 

    Undergraduate 

    • Seniors – begins Monday, November 2, 7 a.m. 

    • Juniors – begins Wednesday, November 4, 7 a.m. 

    • All other undergraduates – begins Friday, November 6, at 7 a.m. 

  • Please check the current Schedule of courses, then register online at My Stevens. My Stevens is available Monday through Sunday 7:00AM to 4:45AM (EDT).

    If you are unable to register online via My Stevens, please check what kind of hold you have. Each hold has an accompanying contact number if you have any questions. Register early so that your requested courses will not be closed.

    You may add courses online up to the end of the drop/add period. You may drop courses online up to the end of the drop/add period. An attempt to drop a course after the end of the drop/add period becomes a withdrawal (a W appears on the record). Withdrawals are permitted online up to the last day to withdraw without signatures.

    Important: Room changes and other important announcements regarding registration are sent via email to all students. Please review your personal information on My Stevens and update your address, email and phone information as necessary.

  • A. Meet with your advisor regarding your class schedule and assistance with selecting a new option.

  • Holds refer to the restriction of a student’s eligibility to enroll in classes, change their curriculum or obtain academic transcripts. Holds can result from a variety of situations, including, but not limited to nonpayment of library fines, parking tickets, and residence hall bills; missing transcripts; or failure to meet immunization requirements. Prior to meeting with an advisor, a student needs to make certain their record is clear of financial and registration holds. If a student is in hold status and would like to verify the hold, they may do so through My Stevens.

  • When a student is unable to enroll themselves and would like to request permission to register for a class they must complete the online, Adobe Acrobat PDF form available via the Forms link in the right column of the Registrar page. Use the fill in capabilities of the PDF form, the digital signature, save it as a PDF form, and forward the PDF form to the next office in the signature block of the form. They will sign it and forward it to the next office, and so on, until it reaches the Office of the Registrar.

  • Engineering undergraduates are required to submit an approved Study Plan, appropriate for their area of concentration, before the end of the third semester.

    Science or Computer Science undergraduates are required to submit an approved Study Plan, appropriate for their area of concentration, before the end of the second semester of enrollment. Undergraduates on the Reduced Load Plan have one additional semester to submit an approved Study Plan.

    Transfer Engineering students are required to submit an approved Study Plan Form the semester before enrolling in your first technical elective.

    All other transfer students are required to submit their Study Plan with the enrollment form for your second semester at Stevens. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Academics at (201)216-5228.

    Graduate students must have an approved study plan on file before they register for their second semester. A registration hold will be placed on the account of any student who has not submitted their study plan after the completion of 9 credit hours.
