The best way to learn about the opportunities available at Stevens Institute of Technology is to visit our campus. Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage you to register online to ensure manageable group sizes and seating accommodations for all of our guests. If you are unable to register online, please call 800.STEVENS or 201.216.5194, and we can assist with your registration.
Campus Visits consist of a 40-minute Admissions Information Session followed by a walking campus tour. Campus Visits are available Monday through Friday and on select Saturdays.
The Admissions Information Session covers the application process, academic areas, student life, professional resources and other aspects of campus. Following the information session, the Campus Visit will conclude with a walking tour of Stevens. Highlights of the campus tour include residence halls, main academic buildings, dining halls, library, athletic complex and more. The tour is indoors and outdoors, so please check the weather forecast before visiting.
Academic Campus Tours
We offer academic campus tours during the school year for insights to specific academic interest areas. You will have the opportunity to see the laboratory spaces, learn about the department's majors and curriculum, and ask questions to an upperclassman tour guide in that major. The tour will be indoors and outdoors, so please check the weather forecast before visiting.
Attend a Class
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions has handpicked a variety of classes for prospective students to audit. These classes were chosen to mirror the types of courses you would be taking as an underclassman. You can attend any class session, regardless of your intended major. ‘Attend a Class’ is intended for applicants and admitted students only.
The admissions interview is a one-on-one meeting between a prospective high school senior or transfer student and a member of the Undergraduate Admissions staff or an alumnus. Interviews are available in-person, via phone or Skype. Please be mindful of the time zone listed when registering for your interview, as all interviews are scheduled in Eastern Time Zone, unless otherwise noted. Interviews for High School applicants wishing to enroll in the fall term must be completed by their application deadline. Transfer students wishing to interview for Fall Term can interview prior to January 15th or after March 15th.
For students applying to the accelerated pre-medicine program, Stevens will contact applicants to schedule an interview following our initial application review. Select students will be contacted, as not all applicants are guaranteed an interview with Stevens.
Visit Days are held throughout the year for both general audiences and specific cohorts of prospective students. Activities include tours, admissions and financial aid overviews, student presentations and other information sessions and showcases.
