The mission of the Office of Human Resources is to support the goals of the University, including education, research and public services. These goals are accomplished through recruitment, career advancement and benefit programs for the Stevens community. Labor relations, personnel counseling services, equal employment opportunity compliance, professional and organizational development and other services are provided to promote a positive work environment.
Currently the Vice President of Human Resources, Mr. Samolewicz joined Stevens Institute of Technology 20 years ago. In his role, he is responsible for overall recruitment, compensation, and benefits for all employees of Stevens.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Mr. Samolewicz worked in finance and administration for 26 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Kean University and later a master's degree in Management from Stevens. Additionally, he served as Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Stevens for 12 years.
