Orientation Sessions and Activities
Full-Time On-Campus Students
All new full-time on-campus master’s students are expected to attend the New Master’s Student Orientation.
School of Systems and Enterprises students will attend orientation on Monday, August 19 beginning at 8:15 a.m. in Canavan Arena. Below is the orientation schedule.

On the day of your orientation, please arrive between 8:15 and 9 a.m. so you can check in before the program begins.
Part-Time On-Campus Students
New part-time on-campus master’s students are invited to attend an optional evening orientation and reception on Wednesday, August 21 from 6-8 p.m. in Babbio Center Atrium (525 River Street). Part-time students are also asked to complete online orientation modules that are available through the online orientation Canvas course.
Online students do not need to attend the on-campus program and have two orientation opportunities: Welcome Orientation hosted by the course instructor via their course website and the online orientation module provided by WebCampus.
A late orientation will be held in early September for on-campus graduate students (both master’s and Ph.D.) who missed their scheduled orientation session. The date, time and location of late orientation will be emailed to all students by September 1.
During the week of August 19, there will be a number of additional workshops and activities for new master’s students. All Welcome Week activities are free and open to all new master’s students.
