An eye on the future
Stevens faculty have created a short, free white paper on the ways data and analytics will help leaders make decisions in the future.
Experienced professionals return to school for many reasons, but one common link is the desire for a program that leverages their professional backgrounds to help them prepare for an ever-changing business landscape.
That's a specialty of the Executive MBA program at Stevens. Here, students enjoy challenging, high-level learning that prepares them for management roles through a curriculum that emphasizes group project work and an ability to analyze the technology that's creating opportunities in business, from finance and marketing to entrepreneurship, decision making and design thinking.
The Stevens EMBA is more than just classroom learning. The program emphasizes collaboration by requiring students to work together on a variety of projects, and ties between those students are built and reinforced through an offsite retreat, where participants work in teams to see how communication, integrity, trust and leadership apply in overcoming obstacles. Furthermore, students are taught to think differently about global business opportunities through a seminar course that culminates in a weeklong trip abroad to visit with managers at a variety of companies.
The program is completed in just under three years, and is designed for students with at least five years' professional work experience. Students with less experience are encouraged to explore the MBA program at Stevens.
