Are you interested in the stock market?
The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology invites you to participate in Stevens Trading Day 2022, a virtual and live trading competition.
This is a free* program, open to domestic and international students aged 16 and older.
Program
- Since February 1, students have created a mock portfolio using the Dow Jones MarketWatch Virtual Stock Exchange, an easy-to-use trading simulator which provides real time market data, news, and historical pricing information on indexes, listed and OTC securities.
- Each student started with $1,000,000 in play money.
- At the end of February, 25 students with the best-performing portfolios will be invited to the Stevens campus.

Inflation, Cryptocurrency, COVID and the Market
Sharpen your trading skills by learning about how big money works. Throughout the month of February, Stevens will be hosting 3 panel discussions on Zoom with in-house finance experts. All discussions will be moderated by Joelle Saad-Lessler, Teaching Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies.

Will you be in the top 25?
In the second phase of the Stevens Trading Day competition, 25 students with the top performing portfolios will be invited to our campus in Hoboken, NJ in April for an exciting live trading event in our state-of-the-art Hanlon Financial Systems Center. The day will include:
- Bloomberg 101 - Introductory workshop on the key functions of the Bloomberg terminal
- Live trading event - Compete against the best of the best high school traders for prizes
- Market insight discussion - led by Professor George Calhoun, contributing writer to Forbes
- Campus tour and lunch
* While our educational program is free, if you are invited to our campus, you will be responsible for your travel costs.
