The School of Business has published its second five-year strategic plan, the successor to the overwhelmingly successful 2012-2017 plan. 

The first strategic plan sought to secure accreditation from AACSB International and rebrand as a School of Business from the former Howe School of Technology Management. With those two targets met, the current strategic plan concerns how to continue the school’s growth in an era of increasing competition and greater challenges for higher education as an industry.

The current plan is structured around six priority areas, which are aimed at leveraging the school’s identity and potential to become a leader in an age of constant change and digital innovation. While the challenges facing the business world and business schools generally are daunting, Stevens is extremely well equipped to lead in a digital environment defined by disruption.

  • Continue the aggressive hiring of high-quality, research-active faculty and provide support for continued growth of academic scholarship.
