Student frantically execute trades in the Stevens trading lab while alumnus John Schwall, COO of IEX Group, looks on.
During Trading Day, high school students get to experience the life of a business student and use the top-end finance lab at Stevens.

Imagine the excitement of a trading floor just as the markets open. Traders gather around terminals, laying out strategy, reacting to news and shouting instructions as they take positions on various stocks. And all around them, high-tech terminals provide a steady stream of market data as it happens, informing decisions and inspiring rapid-fire dealmaking.

If you’re a high school student attending the annual Trading Day at Stevens, imagination is not required. This competition is unique for the emphasis the university puts on creating an authentic, live trading experience that’s right at home across the river on Wall Street. Working in teams, students use Bloomberg systems to access market data and trade their way to the top as they compete against dozens of other schools.
