Gain valuable engineering design skills and specialization in optical engineering or naval engineering in the Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering degree program at Stevens.
Stevens Institute of Technology has a long legacy of engineering education. A broad-based general engineering program was the first offering when Stevens was founded in 1871 and in 1936, it became one of the first engineering programs accredited in the United States. Today, the general engineering program is the engineering bachelor's degree program and it offers students the opportunity to study engineering with two options of concentration.
Students may choose to study naval engineering in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Ocean engineering, or they may choose to study optical engineering in the Department of Physics.
The Bachelor of Engineering program in Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET. Enrollment and Graduation Data
