For students who wish to pursue postgraduate study in mathematics outside of a full master's program.
Each program consists of four courses, including one elective chosen with the consent of the departmental advisor. Students have access to all the resources afforded by the master's program, with the flexibility of entering the workforce after a year — or less — or continuing on to pursue a Master of Science degree.
Graduate certificates are flexible, and often include courses that may be used toward a master's degree. Earning a graduate certificate is a great way to strengthen a resume and be more competitive in the job market, while exploring the possibilities of further scholarship in math or a different discipline.
