The accelerated chemical biology program gives exceptionally qualified students the opportunity to earn the B.S. degree at Stevens and the M.D. degree at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in a total of seven years—a saving of one year in time and expense.
Students admitted to the accelerated chemical biology program take the same courses as the science majors in the first year, adding other program requirements during the following semesters at Stevens, and then enter the medical school at the beginning of the fourth year. Transfer credit for courses taken in the first year of study at the medical school are used to complete the requirements of the Bachelor of Science degree.

Stevens undergraduate programs give students the opportunity to learn by doing with hands-on and real world education around building engineering solutions, applying for patents, and becoming an entrepreneur.
Stevens offers all undergraduate students the opportunity to pursue co-op programs and internships.
Students begin using their engineering knowledge to apply projects to real world problems during their senior design capstone.
The senior design capstone culminates with Stevens' annual Innovation Expo, where seniors show and pitch their engineering projects and business ideas.
Stevens' focus on entrepreneurial thinking stretches beyond the classroom through programs that help innovators turn technology into game-changing businesses.
