Program Features

You can complete the M.S. in Chemistry in as little as three semesters if you choose not to pursue a thesis project. The thesis, however, provides excellent career preparation and allows you to demonstrate the advanced research experience that employers like to see. With the thesis, the program can be completed in two years of full-time enrollment.

The department invites an outstanding scientist for a day of lectures and discussions on timely topics in chemistry. The BCB department also hosts a preeminent scientist for a sequence of informal talks and formal lectures.
