This graduate certificate will provide students with the introductory educational background needed to understand urban systems problems and analyze large-scale data using a variety of tools and techniques. Upon completion, students will be able to use those tools and techniques in the context of urban systems, targeting issues relevant to cities, such as managing disasters, improving public health, and improving quality of life.
