Overview

The maritime transportation system (MTS) is a complex business ecosystem, consisting of ports, vessels, terminal operators, intermodal connectors, and global supply chains. This system relies on information and operational technology (IT/OT) to facilitate the safe, secure, and efficient transport of passengers and cargo. Cyber vulnerabilities and attacks on maritime IT/OT systems can have adverse and far-reaching effects on business operations, resulting in lost revenue, supply chain disruptions, and the exposure of sensitive company data. The ability to effectively manage security risks and defend against cyber threats is a business imperative. This one-day, instructor-led course will provide non-IT/ non-technical maritime business professionals with a high-level overview of cybersecurity concepts and cyber risk management frameworks that can be utilized to achieve a more cyber aware and resilient business enterprise.
