Canvas is Stevens’ institution-wide learning management system (LMS). All courses offered at Stevens automatically receive a Canvas virtual learning space to allow students and faculty to connect, engage and collaborate.

Zoom

Zoom is Stevens' institution-wide video conferencing platform, which lets users quickly and reliably schedule, manage and record meetings. It is also integrated into Canvas and Outlook.

Video Content Management System with Panopto

Panopto is Stevens’ video content management system, which enables users to create, edit and manage all their videos in one place.

Poll Everywhere

Poll Everywhere is an online poling platform that allows students to vote on custom polls — including multiple choice or free response questions — in real time. Instructors can use this tool to engage students in an interactive environment, take attendance, administer quizzes, or gauge understanding.

XR Lab

The Stevens XR Lab is dedicated to providing the entire Stevens community with the opportunity to explore augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, 360-degree video, and other extended reality (XR) technologies.

aPlus+ Attendance

The aPlus+ Attendance platform is a flexible and comprehensive way of recording attendance that is integrated into Canvas.

Learning Analytics provides important information on a range of factors related to student performance and success involving Canvas, Zoom and other learning technologies and systems.

The Comprehensive Assessment for Team-Member Effectiveness (CATME) is a set of tools designed to help instructors manage group work and team assignments more effectively.

TurnItIn

TurnItIn is Stevens’ institution-wide writing enhancement tool. The tool is fully integrated with Canvas, and can improve student writing and empower original thinking through the means of an anti-plagiarism checker.

LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning is an online library that offers high-quality instructional videos which cover a wide variety of topics, such as business, software, technology and art.

Gradescope

Gradescope is a platform that helps instructors seamlessly administer and grade all assignments that are paper-based, fully online, or a combination of the two.

Atomic Search

Atomic Search is a search tool in Canvas that allows instructors and students to easily search Canvas course content.

Instructional Design

The Learning Technology team collaborates with instructors on course design, development and delivery, integrating technology into face-to-face, hybrid and online courses.
